Props to You, J.Crew | OOTD

I usually don't like posting selfies, but I was literally obsessed with my outfit yesterday. I ordered this Dark Navy J.Crew Women's Excursion Quilted Vest last Thursday, and it arrived Tuesday! Props to you, J.Crew.

I paired the vest (before I even picked it up at the post office) with new 917 skinnies from The Limited, my Neon Crewneck Sweater, a chambray scarf from last season, and my roomie's boots. And I shouldn't forget to mention my very small but bold stack of bracelets! The Toggle Bracelet goes with absolutely everything I own, I swear to you. With this outfit, plus my Instagram obsession, how could I not post it? :)

New Obsession: Harding-Lane

Needlepoint and Preppy Hats. Need I say more?

While browsing the internet for some back-to-school shopping, I came across these adorable and original hats! They come in a variety of color and designs, and best of all, the hats are made eco-friendly and support the conservation of the environment! Harding-Lane, created by the sister-brother duo, Sarah and Steve, creates the cutest nautical hats I've ever seen. I need the one with the mermaid AND the one with the rock crab! The other day at work, while wearing my oversized pearl stud earrings, a lady told me how much she loved them. She made my day, and reminded me that pearls are forever classic and effortless.

She also reminded me that I go outside of the box when it comes to pearl earrings. Although I have at least three pairs of simple pearl studs, my favorite go-to pearl earrings have a twist on the classic pair. I have the oversized pearl studs, and I own The Limited drop pearl earrings as well--a fun and dressier style to the stud. The J.Crew and Kate Spade styles are also a pop of fun (and color!) to the preppy pearl stud.

My friend G (from Crafting Through Life) has the most adorable monogrammed bag ever, and I'm totes jelly (pun intended). Anchors Aweigh

If you're anything like me, you love a good pink and green color combination. But you're even more obsessed with the classic navy and white nautical look. If I was getting married anytime soon, my wedding would be navy and white stripes everywhere on everything. I just love it.
